Why wouldn’t I just hire a full-time writer?
Our clients enjoy working with us because it’s challenging to find full-time writers that can write the volume of articles per month that can deliver at our quality level and price point.
We’re able to deliver content fully independently for up to a month without any required direction. Clients can always share feedback anytime, but they like the peace of mind knowing content is just handled.
How do I request content?
CopySub offers a ton of flexibility in how you request content. You can share Google docs or even record a brief Loom video (for those who prefer not to write their briefs out). Essentially, if it can be linked to or shared, it’s fair game.
How fast will I receive my content?
We spend about a week aligning on strategy with new clients, and then we deliver articles every 2-4 business days excluding federal holidays.
What if I don’t like the content?
No problem! We’ll continue to revise the content until you’re 100% satisfied. Revisions may delay starting on the next requested service, which could mean we can’t fulfill all credits by the end of the month.
Are there any refunds if I don’t like the service?
Due to the time-intensive nature of the work to create original assets, we don’t issue refunds. However, we’re dedicated to ensuring you’re completely satisfied with our work.
Who are the content creators?
CopySub is based on pairing 4 to 6 clients with a Sub Captain, your write. You’ll work directly with them. They will get to know you and your brand as you work together.
Do you create or follow a strategy?
For our new clients, we start with understanding their ideal customers (ICP), their business, their industry, and their brand voice. We align with our clients on a content strategy, which boils down to be a list of articles designed to rank for search terms their ICP.
How do you create the content?
For our writing process, use our knowledge of our client and their customers to develop research briefs. Our briefs consider what the ICP wants to know about a topic, topical expert perspectives, relevant facts/stats, and a comparative look at competing articles. We then develop briefs into an outline, which we use to write and edit multiple drafts. It’s a human driven writing process that uses the latest in AI tools.
What kinds of content is not included?
CopySub is built to create SEO tuned, high-quality content. And, while that covers most kinds of articles, there are some things we don’t include, which are:
- Original research: we can take surveys and interviews that you have done and write about them, but we don’t do the research itself.
- Roundups: writing a review of a book, software, or something else requires pulling information from multiple sources for a single item. Doing it for a single item is included. However, we will only write a roundup (an article with reviews of multiple items), after you’ve requested a review for each item in the round up list.
- Premium assets: Sometimes a company wants to offer a state of the industry report, or an annual buyers guide. These kinds of assets tend to be tens of pages and require substantial information gathering. They also typically call for significant design, including tables, charts, and custom graphics. CopySub is not built for those waters.
Do credits rollover?
Unused credits expire at the end of every month. We recommend using the monthly content strategy service to ensure you have a plan each month to fully utilize your credits.
